I'm happy to be pack in the meditation seat with you today, as we continue to explore our theme of the month :
Trust. Faith. Confidence. 


As I mention in our practice today, all of this thinking about "trust" and the ways that it both applies to and is cultivated in our meditation practice has sent me right down the rabbit hole to discover THIS delightful resource:
A talk that author and researcher Brené Brown gave on the "anatomy of trust". Aka: some of the potential ingredients that either build or break trust. 

It's worth a full listen if you have an extra 20 minutes while you're making dinner, cleaning the house again, pacing the floors, you know... quarantine things. 
Suffice it to say that every one of these ingredients that Ms. Brown mentions for establishing trust apply to our meditation practice... however none more than the one that we pluck out to work with in practice today. 

*Which is a quality that's also literally in the definition of "mindfulness".
